Gary

Founder of Crazy Horse Bikes  - A keen cyclist both off road and road and has worked on bikes for more than 30 years,  striking out on his own to open Crazy Horse Bikes in 2008.

Technical Expertise - Gary wanted to ensure his cycle repair experience and technical knowledge was backed up with a Certified Qualification so he is a Cytech 3 qualified Master Mechanic (the industry Gold Standard) and an Advanced Wheel Builder. 

This certification means clients can be sure he has the knowledge, experience and expertise to properly service or repair any cycle. Gary is also qualified in Shimano Di2 and Campagnolo EPS electronic shifting systems, (trained by their lead technical experts) as well as being our in-house Bike Fit specialist.

Cytech Technical Three -  represents the pinnacle of technical proficiency. This level can be attained only by experienced cycle technicians with a full understanding of the advanced engineering behind high-end, performance cycles. Technical three is taught on a modular basis, and technicians who are qualified to this level are able to install and calibrate top-level electronic groupsets, service complex suspension systems and hydraulic brakes as well as building high-performance, lightweight and robust wheelsets which are specific to purpose.

Origins  - Gary is a local boy, second generation Irish and grew up just four streets away from our Balham High Road location. Gary went to the local Hillbrook Juniors and the now long gone Spencer Park Secondary so is very much from the neighbourhood and still lives locally.
